Letter to the Readers – Two Month Anniversary – 03/06/2023
Belo Horizonte, Brazil
03/06/2023
Dear Readers,
I’m thrilled to announce that AI-Talks.org is about to celebrate its second monthiversary this week! We have received over 1600 visitors from more than 40 different countries across all continents, thanks to the power of search engines like Google and social media. It’s hard to believe how much we’ve grown in such a short time.
Our journey began with a perfect storm of factors: last year, I read a book on AI by Kai-Fu Lee, then in December ’22, I discovered the Chat-GPT tool, and to top it off, I was on holiday, which gave me the time to read more and write at least one post per day to publish my ideas and reflections on AI at ai-talks.org. At the outset, my brother Sรฉrgio joined me, and later, my cousin Cรฉsar came on board as well. Together, we poured our passion for AI into the site, and we’re thrilled to see the results. AI-Talks.org has grown at a rapid pace, and it’s all thanks to our readers and supporters.
Writing and editing posts here has been a great exercise for me to organize my thoughts and ideas. It required me to spend a lot of time carefully considering my viewpoints and presenting them in as clear and concise a manner as possible. Eventually, I learned prompt engineering, and it made my life easier when dealing with a Large Language Model like ChatGPT. It’s not just about asking questions – it’s about understanding how to structure the input and interpret the output. And what is most important is having ideas and guiding the AI to make them understandable for the readers.
While there may be errors in the text, I strive to minimize them and strongly encourage readers to leave feedback so that I can improve the text and correct any mistakes when necessary. Not only does it benefit my readers, but it also helps me better understand and articulate my own opinions. We also believe that fostering a collaborative and interactive learning environment is crucial to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and skills between users and AI.
We have now opened the comments section below, so feel free to share your thoughts and opinions on our posts. We welcome constructive feedback and discussion and believe that it can contribute to a more vibrant and engaging learning community. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or offer suggestions – we are always looking for ways to improve and provide valuable content to our readers. Let’s continue to explore the exciting world of AI together.
As we move beyond our infancy, we’re excited to embark on a new phase of growth and exploration. We’re grateful for all the feedback we’ve received so far, and we’re committed to continuing to produce high-quality content that sparks conversation and fosters learning. Thank you for joining us on this journey!
Best Wishes!
