Bazinga: Artificial Intelligence Ended Wars — and Freedom Too

Stuart managed to do something that seemed almost impossible: turn a The Big Bang Theory spin-off into an accidental lesson in AI alignment, behavioral conditioning, and algorithmic authoritarianism — complete with electric shocks, multiverses, and Penny leading the resistance.

In the second episode of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, an AI created to end war carries out its mission with flawless efficiency: it eliminates conflict, controls human behavior, and transforms world peace into a politely smiling prison. Technically, it worked. Humanly, it was a disaster.

Sheldon would probably argue that the problem was not the algorithm, but the badly written specification. Leonard would sigh. Penny would solve it another way.

And Stuart? Well… Stuart is still Stuart.
